In Daylight I found the conversations of the group had grown and matured because they had been thru so much and grown and matured together and Lisa kept to that. Her ability to write conversations between characters, and thoughts they have is very imaginative and not something easy to come by. I could hardly believe the twists in the story with certain events that happened, but It makes it THAT much better and leaves me deeper in anticipation waiting the next one! 2014 is too long to wait!! But I'm glad there will be another because this battle that we've been thru with Cheyenne against defeating Marcus MUST end!! I cannot say anymore, otherwise I will spill the beans on things that YOU JUST HAVE to read yourselves fellow readers and fans!! Til next one! =)įirst of all let me say I'm very proud of Lisa for how well she writes. She realizes he's been the one to pull her thru the darkness and & been there trying to make her see everything that he's done, that her family has done, has been for her. She finally reveals her true feelings for him. Im glad Cheyenne overcomes her darkness within & learns to control it & Callon's always there when she needed it most for moral support & love. So, Cheyenne's definitely had a tough time dealing with the loss of a loved one & a terrible darkness dwelling deep within her, and she struggles HARD at the beginning, but she comes through - she's a tough cookie! I SO wanted to hit Brogan hard with anything I could grab my hands on when he put Cheyenne thru the tacticts training with wanting everyone going against her! Of course, I know it's so she learns & all, but still! Ugh, he irritated me throughout the book so much still not sure I like him. This one has been a bit difficult to get thru at the beginning I had the book for over a week, almost 2 before I built up enough courage to start reading it - after how the last one ended I definitely hesitated but not in the bad way! TOTALLY appropriate, I thought, according to the story taking place here. First, I'll say I wish I had read it sooner! And the title.
